Constants, represented in the Cyc Knowledge Base by #$CycLConstant, are atomic terms introduced into CycL by explicit creation. Constants such as #$FishTaco or #$likesAsFriend begin with #$. Constants are one type of FORT; the other type are non-atomic reified terms (NARTs).
